On the twelfth day of Christmas, abilouise sent to me...
Twelve bardots drumming
Eleven mittens piping
Ten sunflowers a-leaping
Nine vegetables dancing
Eight hats a-milking
Seven legwarmers a-swimming
Six pictures a-laying
Five dre-e-e-esses
Four julie andrews
Three cooked onions
Two dvorak keyboards
...and a massage in a marge piercy.
Get your own Twelve Days:

I have WAY more than 5 dresses. But I like them in that key slot. And a massage IN a Marge Piercy? Shouldn't Ira Wood beat me up now?

Do you have 5 ballgowns? I think everyone should. I think I only have 1. Maybe 2 if my wedding dress counts or 4 if also prom dresses that I can't fit into anymore count. I don't know what it is about dresses though. They're so enticing. Sadly, I don't get to wear them much unless it's summer and one of my days off. Dresses and massage therapy don't mix, at least for me. How do ballgowns and geology do? The only geologist I can picture is my dad and he's not really the ballgown type.

*grin*

I actually have...three. One is now far too large for me, and one is really ripped on the side. The other one I bought at goodwill a few months ago and have no idea where I will wear it, but it's black and long and gorgeous.

Where does a geologist wear ballgowns? Burning Man, mostly. Also to parties when I'm feeling flamboyant, and to my friend Holly's Annual "Ballgown Party". No, I'm not kidding.

Sometimes I like to wear it aroudn the house too, though :)

Wow. I suppose that Ira Wood would only be likely to beat you up if Marge didn't like your, uh, internal massage. Some fo her poetry from a while ago sounds like she was not monogamous at all, though who knows what her story on that is now. Still, that's mighty racy for the program to spit out.

Now, why were you up so late playing with this? My reasons for lack of sleep are in my latest LJ entry, but....

When writing about Ira Wood potentially beating me up I did take into consideration her past non-monogamy and also the fact that he doesn't really strike me as the beating-up type, I still liked the image.

Me being up so late doesn't indicate lack of sleep (though thank you for what sounds like concern) but rather my normal biological clock. I tend to fall asleep around 4am and wake up around noon, which works just fine with being a massage therapist who never sees clients before 2pm. I used to try to fight being such a night owl and do all these therapies and stuff, but at some point I decided to just live with it and save my feeling bad about myself energy for other things.
