abilouiseGround Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 weird habits of yours" and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about their 5 quirky habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names.
1. I hate all meat toppings on pizza except for pepperoni, because it bears no resemblance to meat.
2. I play a LOT of windows solitaire.
3. When I was a kid I would graphic-design on the computer for fun.
4. I memorize jigsaw puzzles (also mostly when I was a kid. I was an only child with working parents. you gotta do SOMETHING)
5. When I am in a crowded, loud, traffic-filled or otherwise annoying public situation, I pretend that I am in Holland and see if it still bugs me or not, which it usually doesn't.

5 weird habits
Date: 5 Jan 2006 16:40 (UTC)have a poor sense of what is "weird" and what isn't. I probably have some very weird habits I won't think of when asked to think of weird habits, and I may list something much less weird instead.
1. Driving rather than flying. If I can get there by car, and time allows it, I will. Even if "there" is the west coast.
2. Iced tea. I have surprised southerners with the amount of iced tea I drink.
3. Crushes. I get them easily, and I always have a good number of them at any time. Is that a "habit"?
4. Using a pager as my watch, because I always used to lose watches. My pager turned out to be the only time-telling thing I could get in the habit of always having with me, and never losing.
5. While we're at it, losing umbrellas. I've never been able to keep an umbrella of my own for longer than a whole winter, since I left home. On the other hand, when I borrow an umbrella, I don't lose it. A few years ago I borrowed listgirl's umbrella while visiting her, and ended up using it for several years, before one day I finally happened to have it in my car while visiting her, and remembered that it was there.
bonus weird habit: Using a landline whenever I can, despite having a cell phone. I hate having conversations on cell phones. Sometimes when I'm away from home I'll even stop and use a payphone to make calls.
extra bonus weird habit, just for you: I don't know how I forgot to mention this when I replied to desiringsubject, but I'm sure my habit of taking my backpack almost everywhere almost all the time strikes many as weird.
